The midpoint cliffhanger that broke the internet: Hank, sitting on Walt’s toilet, picks up a copy of Leaves of Grass and reads Gale’s inscription to “W.W.” In an instant, he knows. Heisenberg is family.
To’hajiilee and Ozymandias
The back half is relentless. The desert shootout leads to Hank’s execution by Todd’s neo-Nazi uncle Jack – the moment Walt loses everything. “Ozymandias,” widely called one of the greatest episodes of TV ever made, watches his entire kingdom turn to ash.
Felina: The Final Bow
Walt flees to New Hampshire, then returns for one last reckoning. He saves Jesse, takes out Jack’s gang with a rigged M60, and finally tells Skyler the truth: “I did it for me. I liked it. I was good at it.” He dies in a meth lab, at peace, among the only thing he ever truly loved.
